Jill Jäger

Jill Jäger is an independent researcher graduated with a B.Sc. in Environmental Sciences and a PhD. In Geography (Climatology). She worked at the Stockholm Environment Institute and the Wuppertal Institute before becoming the Deputy Director of the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (1994 – 1998) and the Executive Director of the International Human Dimensions Programme on Global Environmental Change (IHDP; 1999 – 2002).
She has been involved in a range of EU-funded projects in recent years, where a major focus has been on the engagement of stakeholders in participatory processes for integrated sustainability assessment.
She has published widely in journals and books with her main interests in climate change, sustainability and solution-oriented research.
