Stephanie Daimer

Stephanie Daimer is a senior researcher at the Fraunhofer Institute of Systems and Innovation Research ISI and the Coordinator of the Business Unit Policy for Innovation and Transformation in the Competence Center Policy and Society. As a political scientist (M.A. 2002, doctoral degree 2008), she is interested in the analysis and evaluation of national and European research and innovation (R&I) policies, decision-making processes and governance. Stephanie Daimer has worked on the effects of policies and other framework conditions on organisations and individuals performing research and innovation. More recently, she is working on mission-oriented innovation policies and policies for transformative change. From 2013-2019, she has been a member of the Executive Committee of the European Forum for Studies of Policies for Research and Innovation (Eu-SPRI-Forum). In 2014-2015, Stephanie Daimer was a member of the expert group Foresight on Key long-term Transformations of European systems: Research, Innovation and Higher Education (KT2050) of the European Commission.
