The aim of this session is to increase visibility of ongoing RRI projects and promote exchange between them. In order to deal with the obstacles to physical meetings because of the COVID pandemic, NewHoRRIzon will host a virtual exhibition (RRI.EX) and dedicate a room to posters of ongoing RRI projects. About ten posters will be at display in this room and will remain there during and after the conference.
The poster session will be organized in a sequence of plenaries and breakout rooms. It will start with a welcome by NewHoRRIzon and a short introduction (2 minutes max.) from each visiting project.
This will be followed by altogether four rounds of poster presentations in breakout rooms (15 minutes each) in which participants and poster hosts discuss projects. Participants can choose the breakout room of the poster they are interested in. In the 15 minute breakout sessions, presenters host their own mini-presentation and discussion of their project in a format of their choosing. Each project will have one “off” round so they can join another projects breakout room.
We will be closing the poster session with a plenary discussion and Q&A facilitated by NewHoRRIzon.
