Presentation of the workshop
We held the first workshop at the Central European University in Budapest, the city where the EIT headquarter is also located.
The RRI concept was largely unknown to the participants and we used substantial time getting a hold on the concept, discussing its potential advantages and disadvantages, and understanding the purpose of the NewHoRRIzon project.
Naturally, there was also time for brainstorming ideas for pilot activities and planning the future work.
Two pilot actions emerged, both sharing a core idea of gathering RRI examples from across the KICs and showcasing them either on the EIT website or in an exhibition in the EIT house in Brussels.
