Yannick Cornet is a Senior Researcher of Intelligent and Sustainable Transport Systems at the University of Žilina (Slovakia). His research focuses on a wide range of topics related to sustainable mobility transitions, such as multi-actor and multi-criteria appraisal tools, socio-technical enablers and barriers of change, sustainable mobility indicator frameworks, and perceived travel time from the traveller perspective. With RRI his research interest lies mostly with reconciling democratic engagement processes with long-term sustainability imperatives, or in other words, how to account for future generations’ interests in decision-making today (link). He has a PhD in transport from the Technical University of Denmark, a Masters in planning from Roskilde University (Denmark), and a software engineering degree from Sherbrooke University (Canada).
