Our conference opens with a welcome from Franz Fischler, President of the Board of Trustees of the Institute for Advanced Studies Vienna (IHS, the coordinating research organization) followed by an introduction of the project, it’s objectives, achievements and challenges, and an overview of the conference programme by Erich Griessler, the NewHoRRIzon project coordinator. A time capsule video will take back us to May 2017 where interviews were recorded at the kick-off meeting of the project.
Next, Mika Nieminen, Stephanie Daimer, Karin Aschberger and Yannick Cornet will react to this retrospective video and share and discuss their experiences of NewHoRRIzon. Ingeborg Meyer, University of Leiden, will facilitate the session.
